Despite the downturn in the economy prior to COVID 19, and the ensuing pandemic and lockdown that the country – and world has experienced, The PCO ALLIANCE NETWORK placed R253 439 725.56 worth of business from 01 March 2019– 29 February 2020, excluding VAT.
Figures are based on all business placed in and outside South Africa at venues, together with business placed with various service providers associated with our business.
The PCO Alliance has also been working closely with ESC – Events Safety Council, SACIA – South African Communications Industry, PSA – Technical Production Services Association and various other Industry Stakeholders in preparing plans and procedures for the re-opening of the Tourism and Events industry in South Africa. This sector has been the hardest hit financially because of the mass gathering ban and requires careful consideration and support.
