We look back on the spectacular Kwa Zulu Natal site inspections done by some of our members during July. Varied and beautiful properties were viewed, all with their own unique locations and offerings. It was great to have our new KZN Members with us for the first time too. Starting off at the iconic Blue Marlin Hotel, Dream Hotels in Scottburgh who are undergoing a huge refurbishment – and they traveled on to the very vibey Onomo Hotel on Durban’s “Golden Mile”.
Then on to Capital Hotels and Apartments who offer excellent corporate and leisure options. Included in the tour was Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch – very well appointed and a welcoming home away from home. Then on to the stylish Radisson Blue Hotel Umhlanga which is a welcome new hotel offered wonderful sea views and excellent meeting venues. Coastlands Skye Hotel is the newest addition to this holiday and business destination, and welcomed our group for a thorough site inspection as well. Protea Hotel by Marriott Fire and Ice Umhlanga Ridge wrapped up the tour with aplomb.
The PCO Alliance members who attended the KZN Tour were able to offer great insight and personalized picture diaries to members who could not attend. A very well worthwhile trip and a heartfelt thank you to all the hotels who offered such warmth and hospitality.
