In June our members from Johannesburg and Durban met up in the Drakensberg for a whirlwind tour, starting in the Northern Berg and ending in the Midlands. For the first time in history the annual meeting was hosted outside of Johannesburg, giving our KZN members an opportunity to be there in person.
We were hosted by some iconic and memorable venues. We started off at Little Switzerland and then travelled on to Alpine Heath Resort, Mont Aux Sources, Cathedral Peak, Champagne Sports Resort, Fourdoun Hotel and Spa, Granny Mouse Country House and Brahman Hills. Each property has its own uniqueness and for some of us, it was the first time visiting many of the properties.
The Drakensberg is an affordable region to host a conference for clients with delegates from Johannesburg, Durban, Bloemfontein and Cape Town with big savings on airfare. Properties are ideal for large and small groups with venues to suit all budgets. Our Tour was very well organised by our member Pat Bonini, from Nerve Events based in KZN.
