The Free State Uncovered EXPO took place at the War Museum in Bloemfontein on September 20th. This event was filled with cultural expression featuring a vibrant Cultural Festival that showcases local musicians, dancers, and choirs. There was also “A Night at the Museum’ and the evening ended off with headline act by Brendan Peyper.
This year marked a significant milestone as it is the first time the PCO Alliance Network have participated in the EXPO. Our presence represented an exciting new venture into the Free State’s business and eventing landscape, aiming to foster connections and promote local enterprises. The event offered a unique platform for industry networking making it a must-attend occasion for tour operators, tourism bodies, professional conference organisers and event management companies.
Our PCO Alliance Network envoy had the absolute privilege of meeting and exchanging ideas with the Chief Director: Tourism Destination Development and Transformation from the Department of Tourism, Mr Sibonelo Mzimande! As the guest of Honour at the Gala Dinner, his visionary leadership in driving sustainable tourism growth, fostering economic empowerment, and championing transformation initiatives has not only elevated our industry but also inspired us all to dream bigger and act bolder.
